We will be using the 2.0L Duratec engine found in the Ford Fiesta XR4 and also in the Ford Focus, Mazda 3, Mazda 6 and MX-5.
The engine will be coupled with the 5sp MX-5 manual gearbox found in US and Japanese cars.
We have been added to the Manufacturers list in the Clubman Drivers Club of Australia's website!
News on the build progress will be updated regularly as will progress through the registration process.
We have received my Superspec kit from the UK and have conducted an inventory of it. Will post/take pictures of the kit within the next fortnight. Haven't started building yet because we are in the middle of contructing a ute tray. After seeing it we estimate it should be built by the end of July.
